Polite Society Industries, LLC (“Polite Society,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through PoliteSocietyInd.com (the “Site”), how we use it, and the choices you have.

We do not sell products directly through this Site. Polite Society products are sold through authorized dealers. We do not collect payment card information, process transactions, or maintain customer accounts.

1. Information We Collect

Information you give us. We collect information you choose to submit, such as when you:

• send a message through our contact form;
• apply to become an authorized dealer;
• ask a warranty or product question.

Depending on the form, this may include your name, email address, phone number, business name, FFL or SOT information, mailing address, and the contents of your message.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we automatically collect limited technical information when you visit: IP address, browser type and version, device type, operating system, referring page, pages viewed, and the dates and times of your visit. This is collected through cookies and similar technologies. See Section 5.

Age confirmation. The Site asks you to confirm that you are 21 or older before entering. We record that a confirmation was given. We do not collect your date of birth.

Information we do not collect. We do not collect payment card numbers, bank account information, Social Security numbers, or government identification numbers through this Site. We do not maintain user accounts or passwords.

2. How We Use Information

We use information to:

• respond to your questions, messages, and warranty inquiries;
• evaluate and administer dealer applications;
• operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site;
• send you communications you have asked to receive;
• comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Use.

We do not use your information to make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.

3. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

We share information only as follows:

• Service providers who help us operate the Site — hosting, email delivery, analytics, form processing, and dealer-locator services — and only as needed to perform those services. This includes Google Analytics, which processes Site usage information on our behalf.
• Authorized dealers, where you have asked us to connect you with one, or where your inquiry can only be answered by the dealer who sold or will sell you a product.
• Legal and safety, where required by law, subpoena, or legal process, or to protect our rights, property, or the safety of any person.
• Business transfers, in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.

4. Data Retention

We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, or as required by law.

Contact-form messages and warranty inquiries are retained for 24 months. Dealer applications are retained for the duration of the dealer relationship and for 24 months afterward. We may keep information longer where a longer period is needed to service an ongoing relationship or to meet a legal obligation.

5. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use cookies to operate the Site, remember your age confirmation and cookie preferences, and understand how the Site is used.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling them may affect how parts of the Site function.

Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use the Site — which pages are viewed, how long people stay, and where traffic comes from. Google Analytics sets its own cookies and processes this information on our behalf. You can prevent Google Analytics from collecting your information by installing Google’s browser opt-out add-on.

Advertising. We do not run digital advertising and we do not place advertising or retargeting pixels on the Site. We do not track you across other websites.

Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track. Because we do not sell or share personal information and do not track visitors across other websites, there is no cross-site tracking to opt out of. If you enable Global Privacy Control or a Do Not Track signal in your browser, you can also disable analytics cookies through your browser settings.

6. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• know what personal information we hold about you and how we use it;
• access a copy of that information;
• correct inaccurate information;
• delete your information;
• opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information — we do neither;
• not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights.

To make a request, contact us using the details in Section 10. We will verify your identity before responding, and we will respond within the time required by applicable law. You may use an authorized agent where the law permits.

If we decline your request, you may appeal that decision by contacting us at the same address.

7. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect the information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children’s Privacy

The Site is intended for adults 21 and over. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Third-Party Sites

The Site may link to third-party websites, including dealer sites and social media. We are not responsible for their privacy practices. Please review their policies before providing information.
