There are two questions behind every silencer purchase, and on this cartridge only one of them is interesting.
Will the bullet pass? That is bore, aperture and thread — pure geometry. On .223 and 5.56 it is settled before you start.
Can the silencer take it? That is pressure, heat, and how quickly you feed it. That question has a real answer, and it is the only thing separating the two builds below.
